FBI Director’s Torturous Testimony
“We followed our own protocol.” Those are the words you can hear FBI Director Robert Mueller repeat again and again as Congressman Robert Wexler grows more incredulous.
The FBI knew that the CIA and the Defense Department (under authority from the highest levels of the Bush administration) were using torture on prisoners detained by the U.S. And yet, for some reason, Mueller didn’t call for an investigation of these highly illegal practices.
